While you were sleeping the Senate Republicans struck down a rule that would have let Americans sue banks and credit card companies.
This was put in place under Obama and hadn’t even fully been implemented yet… yesterdays vote was 100% Dems voting No, with a Pence tie-breaker.

Senator Sherrod Brown, Democrat of Ohio, said the Republicans had betrayed ordinary Americans. “By voting to take rights away from customers,” he said, “the Senate voted tonight to side with Wells Fargo lobbyists over the people we serve.”
