This should be a wake-up call for all Americans.

‘The bigoted mayhem that gripped Charlottesville is a moment made for a new president. A moment when he gets to prove to the electorate that it was right to entrust national leadership with him. A moment to unite and start the healing. Instead, President Trump unleashed his “on many sides” nonsense. While I appreciate the president’s words on Saturday, delivered with all the enthusiasm of a student forced to read aloud during detention, I don’t believe him. I don’t believe he feels the emotion the words are supposed to convey. The White House issued a statement Sunday that the president’s grudging comments that didn’t mention white supremacy, racism or specific hate groups “of course … includes white supremacists, KKK, Neo-Nazi and all extremist groups.”’

Russia + Kushner + Secret Comms Channel = Treason

Russian Ambassador, Sergei Kislyak, and Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, made a proposal during a meeting on Dec. 1 or 2 at Trump Tower, about the possibility of setting up a secret and secure communications channel between Trump’s transition team and the Kremlin using a Russian location with Russian communications equipment.

The meeting also was attended by Michael Flynn, Trump’s first national security adviser.

Starting to get interesting…

WaPo & NYT coming hard today! Also, WaPo Journalist tweeted “Day’s not over yet, ppl.”

Look out for more while Trump & Team are in transit – a lot of speculation it is Kushner, notably, he also brought along his ‘spokesman’ for the trip!

‘The law enforcement investigation into possible coordination between Russia and the Trump campaign has identified a current White House official as a significant person of interest, according to people familiar with the matter, the senior White House adviser under scrutiny by investigators is someone close to the president, according to these people, who would not further identify the official.’

NYT Takes a Swing

Our President of the United States of America invited Russian spies into the Oval Office, at Putin’s request, barred US Media, allowed Russian Media, divulged “code-word clearance top secret intelligence” to them, and talked shit about the head of the FBI privately to them. Note: Spicer confirmed.

Let that sink in.

Another strike against a free internet & consumers.

Another strike against a free internet & consumers.

Great example of how the current administration is here to help the people over corporations /s.

‘Regulators began dismantling Obama-era net neutrality rules with a vote on Thursday, opening the way to fewer restrictions on broadband providers and raising web companies’ fears they’ll face barriers to reaching customers.’

Everyone should be concerned about this.

Sally Yates, fired Jan. 30, 2017: As acting AG, Yates was key to the investigation into Trump’s aides and their potential connections to Russia — she was collecting intelligence on the Russian ambassador to the U.S. and which members of the Trump team he had been in contact with. (That includes Mike Flynn, who was fired due to his communications with the ambassador.)

Preet Bharara, fired March 11, 2017:(Former U.S. Attorney) Bharara was investigating Trump’s HHS Secretary Tom Price for his financial investments. Bharara was also investigating corrupt Russian businessmen and officials (and a witness for the case was pushed or fell from a window the day before he was set to testify in another court case).

James Comey, fired May 9, 2017: Comey was, like Yates, investigating Trump’s Russia ties, which he revealed on March 20.

“Days before he was fired, Comey asked for added resources for the FBI’s Russia investigation. According to two Senate aides with knowledge of the investigation, last week Comey met with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to ask for significant added resources for the Russia investigation. On Monday, Comey briefed key senators about the request.”

Sally Yates is a Boss.

BREAKING: House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes canceled a public hearing with former acting AG Sally Yates after she rejected an attempt by the White House to use “executive privilege” to block her testimony, saying she would testify anyway.

Nunes needs to GO!!! He’s impeding the House Intelligence Committee’s investigation into Russia while working in cahoots with Trump. It’s disgraceful.

Sally Yates is a Boss.

The economy is all of a sudden amazing for Trump and his supporters now?

During his presidential campaign, Trump often slammed the government’s labor and employments statistics, calling monthly jobs reports “phony” and the unemployment rate “fiction.” He also frequently claimed that the unemployment rate was much higher than reported.

The jobs growth report in February is consistent with the upward trends that occurred under the Obama administration. The economy has expanded for 77 consecutive months.

President Trump has a new outlook on the legitimacy of the government’s monthly jobs reports, White House press secretary Sean Spicer said on Friday.
Asked about Trump’s past dismissal of Bureau of Labor Statistics jobs numbers in the past in light of Friday’s strong economic report, Spicer quoted the president:“I talked to the president prior to this, and he said to quote him very clearly: ‘They may have been phony in the past, but it’s very real now.'”
Spicer and reporters present laughed, though it wasn’t immediately clear whether Trump was joking. –Story

Thoughts

Last night Trump gave a great speech, no doubt about that. In it he said:

“My administration wants to work with members in both parties to make childcare accessible and affordable, to help ensure new parents have paid family leave, to invest in women’s health, and to promote clean air and clear water, and to rebuild our military and our infrastructure.”

However, yesterday – before the speech, he signed an Executive Order for the EPA to eliminate this: https://goo.gl/Ki7j93

Maybe we should ask him how he will promote clean air & water as he wants to rollback The Clean Water Rule & a Climate Change rule aimed at curbing emissions of planet-warming greenhouse gases from coal-fired power plants without implementing anything as a replacement.

Words “promote clean air & clear water” < Actions https://goo.gl/L2ynMb
